Ways to Volunteer
Host a Demonstration on Saturday
- Host a demonstration on Saturday, July 27th.
- Can be a 'how-to', a 'from the inside' kind of talk, or any other Halloween/haunt-related subject.
- Should be about a 30-minute presentation from start to finish.
- There will be a projector and computer to use if you require
Bring Food / Water
- Bring food for 50 people. (Bread, buns, individual-size bags of chips, etc) or 2 flats (24 each) of bottled water.
- If you volunteer for this, please contact kreepfest@gmail.com to let us know what you're bringing.
Arrive Early
- Arrive by noon on Friday to help with the set-up for Kreepfest.
- Will involve moving tables, setting up the concession stand, hanging banners, prepping demo space, etc...
Work Welcome Table
- Spend one of three shifts during Kreepfest (9am-10am, 10am-11am, 11am-12pm) staffing the welcome table.
- Will act as the smiling face that greets guests, hands out nametags and gift bags, and introduces newbies around.
Work Tee Shirt Table
- Spend one of two shifts during Kreepfest (9am-10am, 10am-11am) staffing the tee shirt table.
- Ensure that everyone who wants to buy a Kreepfest tee gets the chance
Prom Setup
- Remain at the event facility between Kreepfest and the Prom for one hour to help with switching over from one to the other.
- May involve transporting food, setting up decor, prepping food tables, etc...
Stay Late
- Remain after Kreepfest ends at 2pm on Sunday to aid with the clean up.
- May involve packing boxes, wiping down and putting away tables, mopping floors, washing dishes, loading the van, etc..
- Will need to commit to at least 2 hours of work.

The Loyal Order of Kreeps & Zombabes was established in the early aughts to bring a feeling of camaraderie and recognition to the volunteers of Kreefest. The folks who we called on to do a demo, to bring ice, to help sweep up, to work the registration for a bit. It is still that today.
Every other month a Kreep or Zombabe could look forward to a special treat in their mailbox and a special tee shirt designed for them every year. That's the same too! So what's different?
Well, times do have a way of changing and so change (a bit) it has. First thing we changed was to bring the Kreeps & Zombabes together. No reason to make it a guy/gal thing. So The Loyal Order of Kreeps & Zombabes is now a unisex organization.
SO YOU WANNA JOIN US, HUH?
Well, let's discuss what that'll mean.
Firstly, to get it out of the way, you have to volunteer. Whether that's bringing water or helping clean up or any of the myriad things we need our Kreeps & Zombabes to help with, you just have to pick something and do it. If you do that, and you've signed up to be a member, then you can look forward to. . .
